Letter from Our President

With summer coming to a close, our club year is officially getting underway!  The board has been hard at work planning our events and meetings for the year.  Please join me in giving a special thanks to our VPs for Hospitality and Programs, Jennifer Jo and Nina Koeppen for all their hard work planning our kick-off luncheon.  It is going to be a phenomenal event and could not have happened without them!  In addition to the kick-off luncheon, these ladies put together an exciting lineup of events for our monthly all-club meetings this year that gives some variety and seasonal flair while keeping with our wonderful traditions.  Please mark your calendars for the October meeting on 13th at Riverbend Country Club!  We will have a speaker from the White House historical society come to give some background about the fabulous White House Christmas ornaments our Philanthropy group sells to support Artemis House.  On a personal note, I was heartened to learn about this wonderful tradition through the club and start my own collection in earnest.  It is sure to be a wonderful meeting for both veteran and novice collectors.  Ornaments will be available for purchase at the kick-off luncheon.  Get yours before they're gone!

With the club year getting underway, please consider hosting an interest group event at your home.  It is a wonderful way to get to know some of our leadership and get involved (plus who doesn't love a cocktail party or Bunco?).  Please see below for contact information.

Finally, it is with great joy and pride that the club can announce the new board for the Scholarship Fund for 2023-24.  The phenomenal growth and success of the Scholarship Fund in recent years is a testament to the exceptional women in this club and their unwavering commitment to do good in the world.  Please join me in congratulating and thanking this exceptional group of women for their tireless commitment:

Lindsay Harper, President

Suzanne Charleston, Vice President

Dynne Sung, Treasurer

Lauryn Nashi, Secretary

Missy Perkins, Director of Scholarships

Jackie Harding, Director of Fundraising

Connie Colabatistto, Director of Publicity

& TWO NEW POSITIONS:
