Our small band of crafty ladies has continued meeting at Starbucks the first Tuesday of each month, usually at 2:00 to 4:00. There are about 8 to 10 members who show up fairly regularly.

Several members have been bringing their latest projects to the meeting, which of course gives others great ideas for yarn (Anne—did you find your yarn?) and new projects or stitches to try. The conversations are always interesting and we invite those of you who haven’t ventured out to join us for needles (the fun but legal kind!) and conversation.

Join us for a cozy October evening of German-style wines, a bonfire, Mookies BBQ and a hayride! Bring a bottle of German-style wine—red or white—to share. If you're bringing a white, please bring it chilled!

These wines can come from Germany, Austria, or the Alsace region of France.

For whites, think Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Grüner Veltliner, or Pinot Blanc. For reds, try Pinot Noir, St. Laurent, Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, or Dornfelder—or bring something a little unexpected.

We’ll explore the fun world of German-style wines, including how off-dry wines are made, and the foods they pair best with.

Then we’ll put the wine lessons aside and enjoy the best part: good wine, a bonfire, a hayride, and a beautiful October evening.

Plus 1's/guests welcome. $35/person includes dinner and Smores!

Bring your coffee and a camp chair (we'll have a few extra) and hang out with your friends, shop our market vendors (several of whom are Great Falls residents) and have breakfast if you are so inclined! The market sells a hearty bacon egg and cheese empanada as well as pastries. Get a jump on your grocery shop (meats, fruits and vegetables, bread, honey, eggs etc.) and see what specialty products are on offer.

Look for the table with the pineapple! On hot days, we will have a tent up so we can relax in the shade.
