We offer a myriad of activities for its members to meet new people, develop friendships, and become engaged in the community.  We divide our activities into several areas:  general meetings, group outings, a variety of interest groups, philanthropic activities, and our separate Scholarship Board.  

Each of our members can participate in as many or as few of these activities as she prefers.  In addition to enjoying all these opportunities, we urge members to volunteer - it is the volunteers that make our club run as effectively as it does! 

All-Club Activities

• Monthly All Club Meetings:  Members love getting together at our general meetings, which are held monthly from October to April.  Our speakers have included authors, historians, photographers, antique appraisers, organic farmers, and many more. 

• Monthly Coffee Social is a monthly meet-up at Katie’s Coffeehouse (Great Falls Village Centre). Members can drop in to meet some new friends, ask questions about the club, or hear about a new activity.

• Outings & Adventures invites ALL members to experience and explore new aspects of history, culture and beauty in the DC Metropolitan area. We strive to vary the activities to include the diverse interests of members.

Interest Groups

So many interests and activities, so little time! To receive email updates from an interest group, simply edit your Member Profile and select the group(s) you would like to hear from.  If you don't see any activities that you like - start a new group!  More info here

Philanthropy

The Philanthropy Group seeks to support local charities through a variety of efforts and events. We are a fundraising group within the Women’s Club of Great Falls. Each club year the committee carefully selects and vets the charities we support, traditionally involving the needs of women and children. More info here
