All Kinds of Needles

A good number of our members were able to get together at Karla’s house for our October meeting. Anne and Nancy showed off some gorgeous socks they’ve recently made. I’ve been having painful thumb issues and have given up needles for a while (hopefully not forever)—and I now have one half of a pair of socks completed. Hopefully it will soon get a mate!

Anne brought a large bag of yarn to donate. Lots of the yarn had tangled and Anne and Jennifer and I had a fun time untangling while most everyone else was showing off knitting or crocheting or needlepoint projects. We also observed an (unwanted) skateboarding exhibition on Karla’s front lawn. Apart from that, and as usual, a good time was had by all.
