Support Friends of Riverbend Park through their Native Plant Sale

Sales for the FORB Native Plant Sale are still open but will close on Saturday, March 16th. So, if you want to be assured of getting the plants you want this year, go to the FORB website at www.forb.wildapricot.org/Native-Plant-Sale to view the native plants available, their prices, planting conditions and other pertinent information. Please note that we have been advised that STYLOPHORUM diphyllum (Golden Wood Poppies) will not be available this year. No minimum purchase is required.

Payments made be made online by PayPal or credit card. Buyers may also send your order to forbpark@gmail.com and send a check for your order, payable to "FORB", to FORB, Post Office Box 1481, Great Falls, VA 22066-8481. Paying by check is actually more advantageous for FORB since we then do not have to pay the 2.75% PayPal or credit card transaction fees.

If you do not wish to pre-order your plants for pickup the day before the sale to the general public, please join FORB on the day of the sale, Saturday, May 4th, beginning at 8 AM at Riverbend Park's new Outdoor Classroom / Picnic Shelter, 8700 Potomac Hills Street in Great Falls. FORB will not hold the sale at the Grange on Georgetown Pike this year as they have in previous years. Plants generally sell out quickly, so I advise members to go early to get the best selections.
